Copper Sulfate Crystals

Primarily referred to as cupric sulfate, bluestone, blue vitriol, basic copper sulfate, and copper sulfate pentahydrate.  These blue color crystals are used as a fungicide or bordeaux mixture in gardens and food production greenhouse operations when you dissolve the crystal in hot water.  We also see this product being used as an algae treatment for people with ponds or lakes. Can also be used to help clear tree roots from your septic lines when you make a solution of copper sulfate.  This product is not the best for aquatic weed control. When the water temperature rises in the summer and the growing algae is seen, water bodies treated with this copper sulfate solution are crystal clear!

This is 99% pure copper sulfate pentahydrate and is packaged in its original packaging whether fine crystal, mini crystal, small crystal, or large crystal.  This is not basic copper chloride!  We only have EPA labeled product so it is legal to use as an algaecide and root control in your septic system.  In high amounts of excess copper, it is toxic to fish.  We want to be sure everyone has the right information to be sure they are applying these blue crystals correctly without harming aquatic life and any varieties of fish sensitive to copper.  People love using it, forming a good defense against algae. For all your application needs like applying with a burlap bag or information regarding how to use it, please refer to our how to use copper sulfate page for more information.
